Ulises Errapel scored 0-2 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Elpidio Precioso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Tiburones FC's zone, Ulises Errapel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elpidio Precioso came out of the goal and Ulises Errapel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 26th minute Remigio Guillen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elpidio Precioso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 34th minute, Remigio Guillen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Elpidio Precioso was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lorenzo Ibon stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Ulises Errapel kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Elpidio Precioso. That made the score 0-5 in the 53 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulises Errapel in the 61st minute of play forced Tiburones FC's goalkeeper Elpidio Precioso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Ulises Errapel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Elpidio Precioso was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. Elpidio Precioso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ulises Errapel's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. Simbol FC's Benito Larra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lorenzo Ibon in the 65th minute of play. 69 minutes into the match, Lorenzo Ibon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Larra. Simbol FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lorenzo Ibon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. After having played for 73 minutes, Ulises Errapel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Simbol FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ulises Errapel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Tiburones FC's Eusebio Viviano got a free kick in the 74th minute. If Sergio Illan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ulises Errapel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elpidio Precioso having to interfere. In the 79th minute, Alvaro Ondino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 81 minutes Tiburones FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sergio Illan who took care of the corner kick. The supporters of Simbol FC booed when Tiburones FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mauricio Taurino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lorenzo Ibon kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. If Ulises Errapel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Remigio Guillen in the 96th minute of play forced Tiburones FC's goalkeeper Elpidio Precioso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Tiburones FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Simbol FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
