After 7 played minutes Aive got a freekick which was hit by Arnaldo Eriz. When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Marco Intxixu took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Gonzalo Felipillo to make any attempt to save it. In the 14th match minute, C.A.PLATENSE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cirilo Eron to maneuver through the defense. In the 34th match minute, Aive was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orlando Haritz to maneuver through the defense. In the 40th minute, Mateus Magalhães got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mateus Magalhães sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind C.A.PLATENSE's goalkeeper Baltasar Eneto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mateus Magalhães was the one to do the kick off. After 51 played minutes C.A.PLATENSE got a freekick which was hit by Cirilo Eron. After having played for 56 minutes, Hector Idacio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aive's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hector Idacio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 58th minute Gilberto Lluques shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gonzalo Felipillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mateus Magalhães got free with Baltasar Eneto in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mateus Magalhães sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. C.A.PLATENSE's Baltasar Eneto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save C.A.PLATENSE from getting a goal against them. 69 minutes into the match, C.A.PLATENSE's Marco Intxixu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gonzalo Felipillo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 70 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Aive! Mateus Magalhães received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. When the referee blew the final whistle, C.A.PLATENSE could leave the field as winners, despite Aive having more of the ball for most of the match.
