Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Rigoberto Erdiano took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the match, Correntoso AFC's goalkeeper Ariel Shepherd had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nestor Rexino. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rigoberto Erdiano in the 5th minute of play forced Correntoso AFC's goalkeeper Ariel Shepherd to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gustavo Stephen hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Nestor Rexino struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Ariel Shepherd didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pueblo. After 9 minutes, Modesto Eztebe mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pueblo and the Correntoso AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Correntoso AFC booed when Pueblo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Modesto Eztebe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rigoberto Erdiano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ariel Shepherd having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rigoberto Erdiano in the 17th minute of play forced Correntoso AFC's goalkeeper Ariel Shepherd to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18th minute, Nestor Rexino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ariel Shepherd was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Correntoso AFC's goalkeeper Ariel Shepherd, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Rigoberto Erdiano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some careless play in the Correntoso AFC defense, Nestor Rexino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ariel Shepherd. The Correntoso AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ariel Shepherd should have stopped the shot. If Rigoberto Erdiano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nestor Rexino who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 35thth minute tested the skills of Ariel Shepherd when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rigoberto Erdiano in the 36th minute of play forced Correntoso AFC's goalkeeper Ariel Shepherd to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Rigoberto Erdiano came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Pueblo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rigoberto Erdiano couldn't finish the play. In the 42nd minute, Armando Guipuzkoa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 43rd minute, Felipe Nerio sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Correntoso AFC's Ariel Shepherd didn't even have to move. Ermegildo Pueblo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dario Precioso having to make a save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ermegildo Pueblo was the one to do the kick off. Rigoberto Erdiano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Ariel Shepherd tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 53 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Nestor Rexino sped through Correntoso AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ariel Shepherd. Rigoberto Erdiano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Ariel Shepherd tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rigoberto Erdiano took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ariel Shepherd. Ariel Shepherd dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nestor Rexino in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ariel Shepherd prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 72nd minute, Esteban Lore hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nestor Rexino struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Ariel Shepherd didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pueblo. Rigoberto Erdiano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ariel Shepherd having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Rigoberto Erdiano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ariel Shepherd was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. When Rigoberto Erdiano, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 90 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. Felipe Nerio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 96th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ariel Shepherd. Correntoso AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. There was no doubt that Pueblo were the better team. Pueblo's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
