Alfredo Matai had several of the Fui a la Pelota's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 16 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Benicio Hondo as he didn't even see the shot coming. When Teodoro Benvido came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Kapelsqui FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teodoro Benvido couldn't finish the play. 2-0 became the score in the 21st minute when Alfredo Matai elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Benicio Hondo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Teodoro Benvido in the 23rd minute. Benicio Hondo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredo Matai, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Alfredo Matai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Teodoro Benvido could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Benicio Hondo made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Teodoro Benvido got free with Benicio Hondo in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 42nd minute, Teodoro Benvido got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alfredo Matai to strike the kick off in the second half. Modesto Frasco took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benicio Hondo. Benicio Hondo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. In the 57th minute, Modesto Frasco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Alfredo Matai came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Kapelsqui FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfredo Matai couldn't finish the play. Alfredo Matai might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benicio Hondo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alfredo Matai ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 70th minute, Cornelio Tulio reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bonifacio Gaspard. The goal made the score 3-1. In the 74th minute Eliseo Carlomagno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bonifacio Gaspard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Kapelsqui FC had played much better football throughout.
