The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Segundo Basajaun hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. 7 minutes into the match, PaJaRO's goal looked a bit too open when Isidoro Donostia came free, but Gogo Rufio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 8th minute, Refik Umman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ricardo Espiridion hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Albino Acuña hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. 20 minutes into the match, PaJaRO's goal looked a bit too open when Armando Ibar came free, but Gogo Rufio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. PaJaRO's Refik Umman got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 25th minute, Refik Umman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Club Porteño Villa Crespo's Sergio Aurre got control of the ball when Elpidio Papo tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Refik Umman came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the PaJaRO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Refik Umman couldn't finish the play. If Refik Umman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Isidoro Donostia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Porteño Villa Crespo's supporters rose to their feet, but Isidoro Donostia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gogo Rufio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Elpidio Papo was the one to do the kick off. PaJaRO's Elpidio Papo got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Isidoro Donostia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Gogo Rufio made a huge save. After 64 played minutes Club Porteño Villa Crespo got a freekick which was hit by Isidoro Donostia. 66 minutes into the match, Club Porteño Villa Crespo's goal looked a bit too open when Elpidio Papo came free, but Sergio Aurre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aurelio Peli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Gogo Rufio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Club Porteño Villa Crespo's Sergio Aurre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elpidio Papo in the 72nd minute of play. Refik Umman took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sergio Aurre. Sergio Aurre dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Armando Ibar charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Armando Ibar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of PaJaRO booed when Club Porteño Villa Crespo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armando Ibar didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elpidio Papo in the 87th minute of play forced Club Porteño Villa Crespo's goalkeeper Sergio Aurre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sergio Aurre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elpidio Papo in the 89th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Club Porteño Villa Crespo defense, Elpidio Papo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sergio Aurre. The Club Porteño Villa Crespo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sergio Aurre should have stopped the shot. PaJaRO walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
