Justino Fix didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Veremundo Domenech went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Through an outstanding action, after 18 minutes, Ildefonso Urtzi successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Carlos Oliverios's late challenge caught a Mesada FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carlos Oliverios helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Mesada FC booed when Las Batatas Furiosas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. In the 27th minute Veremundo Domenech shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Justino Fix saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Mesada FC were victorious despite being under pressure from Las Batatas Furiosas for much of the match.
