The audience was convinced that Lázaro Mikelar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edgardo Santio was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victorio Txanton in the 18th minute of play forced Trebolares's goalkeeper Nemesio Quico to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38thth minute of the game Lázaro Mikelar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Diablo y picapiedra's Edgardo Santio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Leandro Inge kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. 1-3 became the score in the 42nd minute when Lázaro Mikelar elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. With a little luck, Trebolares's Nemesio Quico got control of the ball when Angel Cucao tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 69 minutes, Aristides Rik managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Trebolares's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aristides Rik was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 72 minutes into the match, Trebolares's Sílvio Leite sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edgardo Santio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 73rd minute, Constantino Rosio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 75 minutes into the match, Trebolares's goal looked a bit too open when Victorio Txanton came free, but Nemesio Quico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 81 minutes, Sílvio Leite managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nemesio Quico showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flavio Abeita, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Aristides Rik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgardo Santio having to interfere. The throw-in from Prudencio Erramun in the 95th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Trebolares's Aristides Rik. 96 minutes into the game, Prudencio Erramun threw the ball into play from the sideline. Trebolares's Aristides Rik quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Trebolares's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
