Argentinos juniors's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aldo Corderun in the 15th minute of play forced Luyaba AFC's goalkeeper Amado Perrando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Benedicto Jordy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 38th match minute, Luyaba AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredo Jago to maneuver through the defense. Benedicto Jordy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Benedicto Jordy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Amado Perrando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 48th minute Benedicto Jordy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amado Perrando saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Benedicto Jordy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Amado Perrando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cornelio Flor charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cornelio Flor the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Cornelio Flor hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Aldo Corderun kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Amado Perrando. That made the score 1-1 in the 58 minute of play. With a little luck, Luyaba AFC's Amado Perrando got control of the ball when Benedicto Jordy tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Argentinos juniors's Silvano Loramendi got a free kick in the 65th minute. Luyaba AFC's Amado Perrando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aldo Corderun in the 67th minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, Argentinos juniors's Benedicto Jordy sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Amado Perrando narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 73rd minute, Benedicto Jordy ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Amado Perrando was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. 77 minutes into the game, Aldo Corderun recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Amado Perrando. Aldo Corderun showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. Evelio Savier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rogelio Brais, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 89 played minutes Argentinos juniors got a freekick which was hit by Filiberto Montrel. In the 92nd minute Rogelio Brais shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evelio Savier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 94 minutes into the match, Luyaba AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Fulgencio George came free, but Amado Perrando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
