Wilfredo Hegoi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 13 minutes into the match, Tamangueyú AFC's goalkeeper Wilfredo Hegoi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isaac Llin. After a defensive mix-up in Tamangueyú AFC's zone, Agustin Piorno stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wilfredo Hegoi came out of the goal and Agustin Piorno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 33 minutes into the match, genesis's goal looked a bit too open when Arturo Rozarius came free, but Julio Santiago reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 42nd minute, Benjamin Erasto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

genesis's defense didn't have a chance, in the 54th minute, when Arturo Rozarius scored to the left of an out of position Julio Santiago, making the score, 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arturo Rozarius in the 61st minute of play forced genesis's goalkeeper Julio Santiago to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 65 played minutes, Tamangueyú AFC's Timoteo Ilazki shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Julio Santiago came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tamangueyú AFC reached it. In the 66th minute, Jonas Dalkvist ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Santiago was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Julio Santiago made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arturo Rozarius in the 71st minute of play. After 73 minutes of play, Tamangueyú AFC's Arturo Rozarius made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julio Santiago was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Tamangueyú AFC's Benjamin Erasto got a free kick in the 76th minute. genesis made a substitution. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Wilfredo Hegoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hugo Cresenciano in the 90th minute of play. A throw-in in the 93rd minute of the game was made by Isidro Viator with Feliciano Ioritz as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Julio Santiago made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arturo Rozarius in the 96th minute of play.
