With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcos Frederico in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ismael Osasun saved Anjullor FC from getting behind. Teofilo Estavan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Albino Emeterio went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Ismael Osasun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcos Frederico in the 19th minute of play. Ovidio Lucian recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in Anjullor FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 22nd minute. Penalty! Edelmiro Mouricio shot the penalty kick right outside the post. 27 minutes into the game, Volcán's Armando Martxelin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ismael Osasun made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Teofilo Estavan made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Silvio Bastian sent off a good shot on target. 32 minutes into the match, Anjullor FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marcos Frederico came free, but Ismael Osasun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Volcán's Teofilo Estavan got control of the ball when Silvio Bastian tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcos Frederico in the 36th minute of play forced Anjullor FC's goalkeeper Ismael Osasun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 43 minutes, Ismael Victoro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Anjullor FC and the Volcán players grew even worse after the yellow card. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Anjullor FC's Ismael Osasun proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Anjullor FC from getting a goal against them. Silvio Bastian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teofilo Estavan having to interfere. In the 56th minute Ismael Victoro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teofilo Estavan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Diego Mouricio hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Anjullor FC's Ismael Osasun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ovidio Lucian in the 61st minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, Albino Emeterio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Teofilo Estavan. Volcán's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Albino Emeterio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Ismael Osasun stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcos Frederico's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. Teofilo Estavan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albino Emeterio, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Ovidio Lucian took a quick shot and it went in 3-3 without a chance for Ismael Osasun to make any attempt to save it. Despite being the better team, Volcán failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
