Rodrigo Mogel's late challenge caught a Nativo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rodrigo Mogel helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Aston Villa F.C's Rodrigo Mogel got a free kick in the 3rd minute. 俞邦岚 was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Reynaldo Inko. When Nativo's Teofilo Lobo in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Aston Villa F.C's goalie prevented a goal. Pablo Ruy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teofilo Lobo, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. 17 minutes into the game, Nativo's Anastasio Timo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pablo Ruy made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Pablo Ruy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teofilo Lobo in the 20th minute of play. Reynaldo Inko kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristo Milian got free with 俞邦岚 in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cristo Milian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 俞邦岚 having to interfere. In the 29th match minute, Nativo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lorenzo Mano to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Aston Villa F.C's Roman Cortez got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Teofilo Lobo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 39th minute, Abelardo Primeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fulgencio Quinton struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Pablo Ruy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nativo. In the 47th minute, Anastasio Timo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Cristo Milian made the kick off in the second half. Fermin Pacho kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Victorio Gorri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teofilo Lobo in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pablo Ruy saved Aston Villa F.C from getting behind. Nativo's 俞邦岚 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristo Milian in the 79th minute of play. Anastasio Timo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Pablo Ruy firmly grabbed it by the left post. Pablo Ruy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teofilo Lobo in the 94th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cosme Cebrian in the 97th minute of play forced Nativo's goalkeeper 俞邦岚 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nativo played a much better game than Aston Villa F.C and deserved their victory. The Aston Villa F.C players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
