After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Javier Turi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cementerio de elefantes's supporters rose to their feet, but Javier Turi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. 叶城旭 breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in River Plate's zone, Mateo Lluis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 叶城旭 came out of the goal and Mateo Lluis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Serafin Chago kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. 叶城旭 made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Javier Turi sent off a good shot on target. Teodor Feliu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aris Fotakos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Cementerio de elefantes getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Lennart Ahlstedt hit a great ball. In the 38th minute, Aris Fotakos made a precise shot to the right of Teodor Feliu. Cementerio de elefantes's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Mateo Lluis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but 叶城旭 made a huge save. 47 minutes into the match, Cementerio de elefantes's goal looked a bit too open when Aris Fotakos came free, but Teodor Feliu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. River Plate's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Marco Gumaro in the 49th minute. After taking down the ball on River Plate's corner Marco Gumaro fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Teodor Feliu quite easily take care of the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

With a little luck, Cementerio de elefantes's Teodor Feliu got control of the ball when Manuel Ayala tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 62 played minutes River Plate got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Ayala. 64 minutes into the match, River Plate's goal looked a bit too open when Isaac Matai came free, but 叶城旭 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. During the 72nd minute of the match Isaac Matai completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Isaac Matai a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Isaac Matai kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Teodor Feliu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aris Fotakos's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. In the 75th minute, Marco Gumaro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 76 minutes into the match, Aris Fotakos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Teodor Feliu. Cementerio de elefantes's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aris Fotakos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Teodor Feliu made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Aris Fotakos sent off a good shot on target. In the 82nd match minute, Cementerio de elefantes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Melchor Ostadar to maneuver through the defense. Teodor Feliu was out of position in the 83 minute of play, and Aris Fotakos capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Aris Fotakos really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. River Plate walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
