The supporters of West City booed when East Tandil Union was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reynaldo Toribio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hugo Regis might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pedro Beti. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hugo Regis ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 16th minute, Agustin Valiente got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 24th minute Hugo Regis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Beti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alonzo Ihintza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matías Carvallo in the 28th minute of the match. Isidoro Fidensio's late challenge caught a East Tandil Union's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Isidoro Fidensio helped the player get up and apologised. In the 33rd match minute, West City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isidoro Fidensio to maneuver through the defense. Alonzo Ihintza stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Matías Carvallo's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. Pedro Beti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agustin Valiente, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Agustin Valiente hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. In the 44th minute, Reynaldo Toribio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hugo Regis to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of West City booed when East Tandil Union was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonardo Jara didn't get a good kick on the ball. Agustin Valiente fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Beti having to interfere. After a rather tough play, West City's Paolo Txilar got a free kick in the 58th minute. Alonzo Ihintza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matías Carvallo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 65 played minutes West City got a freekick which was hit by Ignacio Lueje. Agustin Valiente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Joaquin Balesio struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Alonzo Ihintza didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for West City. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hernan Nardo got free with Pedro Beti in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matías Carvallo in the 80th minute of play forced East Tandil Union's goalkeeper Alonzo Ihintza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 81st match minute, East Tandil Union was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christian Leguizamón to maneuver through the defense. If Matías Carvallo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
