Cornelio Presebal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Herminio Montxo, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. In the 32nd minute, Herminio Montxo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cornelio Presebal was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 35 minutes into the match, Hakuna matata's goalkeeper Arsenio Iruinea had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Segundo Lawrence. Arsenio Iruinea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christian Eli in the 40th minute of the match. A collision led to Pillahuincó getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Astor Handi hit a great ball. With a little luck, Hakuna matata's Arsenio Iruinea got control of the ball when Segundo Lawrence tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 47th minute, Pillahuincó's Isidoro Cresconio ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Arsenio Iruinea. Arsenio Iruinea yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Herminio Montxo made a kick off. Arsenio Iruinea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christian Eli in the 59th minute of the match. Cornelio Presebal was out of position in the 62 minute of play, and Frederico Ribeiro capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Frederico Ribeiro really showed his touch with that goal: 3-2. Cornelio Presebal made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Herminio Montxo sent off a good shot on target. Hakuna matata's Arsenio Iruinea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Eli in the 71st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelino Cordeara in the 79th minute of play forced Pillahuincó's goalkeeper Cornelio Presebal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cornelio Presebal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frederico Ribeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Segundo Lawrence took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arsenio Iruinea. Arsenio Iruinea dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. Cornelio Presebal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frederico Ribeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Frederico Ribeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cornelio Presebal having to interfere. In the 96th minute, Eustacio Bras hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Pillahuincó were victorious despite being under pressure from Hakuna matata for much of the match.
