The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 32 minutes into the match, Tatengue de Corazon's Leon Chano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hermengildo Corderun narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ovidio Leoiar hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. 39 minutes into the match, Tatengue de Corazon's goalkeeper Gerardo Tiniebra had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gaudencio Gumaro. Leandro Bemabe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gerardo Tiniebra was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Saul Larpe. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gaudencio Gumaro to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaudencio Gumaro in the 54th minute of play forced Tatengue de Corazon's goalkeeper Gerardo Tiniebra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lucas Hibai recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Red Lions's zone, Lucas Hibai stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hermengildo Corderun came out of the goal and Lucas Hibai tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Julio Urre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lucas Hibai in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hermengildo Corderun saved Red Lions from getting behind. In the 68th minute, Lucas Hibai got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match clock showed 73 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Gaudencio Gumaro sped through Tatengue de Corazon's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gerardo Tiniebra. Lucas Hibai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hermengildo Corderun having to interfere. Raul Havier charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Raul Havier the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Leon Chano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hermengildo Corderun having to interfere. Lucas Hibai's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hermengildo Corderun read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. Lucas Hibai recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gaudencio Gumaro in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gerardo Tiniebra saved Tatengue de Corazon from getting behind.
