Ciriaco Olivar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ismael Santos's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. In the 12th minute, Chancaní AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Denis Ortzi fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After 13 minutes, Denis Bakar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chancaní AFC and the GIMNASIA y TIRO de SALTA players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 13 played minutes Chancaní AFC got a freekick which was hit by Denis Bakar. Ciriaco Olivar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ismael Santos, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. After 17 minutes of play, Chancaní AFC's Eriberto Naike made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ciriaco Olivar was left in no man's land by his defense there! GIMNASIA y TIRO de SALTA's Ciriaco Olivar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ismael Santos in the 22nd minute of play. If Eriberto Naike had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 24 minutes into the match, Ismael Santos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ciriaco Olivar. GIMNASIA y TIRO de SALTA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ismael Santos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. GIMNASIA y TIRO de SALTA's attentive Guido Martxel managed to snatch the ball when Humberto Ourente made a throw-in in the 28th minute of the game. The supporters of GIMNASIA y TIRO de SALTA booed when Chancaní AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eriberto Naike didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ciriaco Olivar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eriberto Naike, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35th minute of the match Humberto Ourente shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ciriaco Olivar showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Aristides Tolino's late challenge caught a Chancaní AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aristides Tolino helped the player get up and apologised. In the 37th match minute, GIMNASIA y TIRO de SALTA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aristides Tolino to maneuver through the defense. Ciriaco Olivar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eriberto Naike in the 40th minute of the match. If Eriberto Naike had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Lauaxeta to make the kick off. Denis Bakar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Eriberto Naike took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Ciriaco Olivar to make any attempt to save it. Eriberto Naike sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 63 played minutes GIMNASIA y TIRO de SALTA got a freekick which was hit by Casimiro Acuña. Ciriaco Olivar was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Humberto Ourente. 67 minutes into the match, Chancaní AFC's Ismael Santos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ciriaco Olivar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ismael Santos in the 69thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ciriaco Olivar, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. GIMNASIA y TIRO de SALTA's Ciriaco Olivar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save GIMNASIA y TIRO de SALTA from getting a goal against them. Ismael Santoss short, quick shot in the 84thth minute got Ciriaco Olivar to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Eriberto Naike had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 88 minutes into the match, GIMNASIA y TIRO de SALTA's goalkeeper Ciriaco Olivar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ismael Santos. Ciriaco Olivar was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ismael Santos showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 88 minute of play. The Chancaní AFC fans' excitement grew in the 92nd match minute when Chancaní AFC's Ismael Santos looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Chancaní AFC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
