The supporters of Los Hornos F.C booed when Atlas F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Igor Lamberto didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Aureliano Rexino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Hornos F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Aureliano Rexino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ludwig Lindgren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Igor Lamberto kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Atlas F.C's Ludwig Lindgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Norberto Quintan in the 11th minute of play. Ludwig Lindgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gualterio Cordarell in the 12th minute of play. 19 minutes into the game, Aureliano Rexino cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Ludwig Lindgren was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 23 minutes into the match, Atlas F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Aureliano Rexino came free, but Ludwig Lindgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Los Hornos F.C's Fabricio Socorro got control of the ball when Danilo Gipuzkoa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ludwig Lindgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Norberto Quintan, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. When Norberto Quintan came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Los Hornos F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Norberto Quintan couldn't finish the play. In the 33rd minute, Aureliano Rexino left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Los Hornos F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Norberto Quintan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Norberto Quintan in the 38th minute of play forced Atlas F.C's goalkeeper Ludwig Lindgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Danilo Gipuzkoa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atlas F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Danilo Gipuzkoa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabricio Socorro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 46 minutes into the game, Los Hornos F.C's Edelmiro Ubarna nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ludwig Lindgren made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Norberto Quintan made a kick off. Gualterio Cordarell was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 54 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Los Hornos F.C's Gualterio Cordarell got a free kick in the 55th minute. 57 minutes into the match, Los Hornos F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Ramiro Seber came free, but Fabricio Socorro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Rogelio Tibalt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabricio Socorro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Danilo Gipuzkoa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Manuel Afonso was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 63 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 62nd minute of the game. One of Atlas F.C:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Los Hornos F.C:s goal. The goalkeeper, Ludwig Lindgren, was totally fooled by Los Hornos F.C's Norberto Quintan, who 65 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. When Atlas F.C's Igor Lamberto in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Los Hornos F.C's goalie prevented a goal. Edelmiro Ubarna struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Ludwig Lindgren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Hornos F.C. In the 82nd minute, Los Hornos F.C's Aureliano Rexino dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. If Eustaquio Oxarra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 90 minutes into the match, Atlas F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Aureliano Rexino came free, but Ludwig Lindgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 91st minute Edelmiro Ubarna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ludwig Lindgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fabricio Socorro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Danilo Gipuzkoa in the 94th minute of the match. Ludwig Lindgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aureliano Rexino, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Ludwig Lindgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aureliano Rexino in the 99th minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Los Hornos F.C left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Atlas F.C.
