The Nueva Chicago DC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Candido Ekialde should have stopped the shot. Manantiales's Cristobal Naelio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Manantiales from getting a goal against them. In the 20th minute, Aquiles Chumo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gogo Tano was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Jakobe in the 54th minute of play forced Manantiales's goalkeeper Cristobal Naelio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Nueva Chicago DC's Candido Ekialde got control of the ball when Benito Ixaka tried to sneak it across the goal line. 59 minutes into the game, Nueva Chicago DC's Gogo Tano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cristobal Naelio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. In the 67th minute Benito Ixaka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Candido Ekialde saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gogo Tano in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cristobal Naelio saved Manantiales from getting behind. In the 71st minute, Manantiales's Benito Ixaka dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. But to his dismay, Tomas Jakobe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Benito Ixaka could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Candido Ekialde made a huge save. Celestino Gartzi received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Candido Ekialde came out and tried to block the shot, but Celestino Gartzi slotted it home off the left post making it 3-3 in the 89th minute. Celestino Gartzi hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. In the 96th minute, Silverio Abadie left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nueva Chicago DC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-3.
