Jorge Maule fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cipriano Abreu having to interfere. Cipriano Abreu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Maule in the 6th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnulfo Eleazar in the 14th minute of play forced Boedo's goalkeeper Ruperto Colon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Boedo getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Candido Montrel hit a great ball. If Adomas Degulis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 24th match minute, mako f.c. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Salvador Romo to maneuver through the defense. 34 minutes into the game, Boedo's Jorge Maule nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cipriano Abreu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 37th minute, Jorge Maule got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 42 minutes into the match, Boedo's goal looked a bit too open when Arnulfo Eleazar came free, but Ruperto Colon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, mako f.c.'s Cipriano Abreu got control of the ball when Jorge Maule tried to sneak it across the goal line.

Boedo made a substitution. Rosendo Amaya replaced Alonzo Vitin. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jorge Maule made a kick off. 57 minutes into the match, Boedo's goal looked a bit too open when Arnulfo Eleazar came free, but Ruperto Colon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arnulfo Eleazar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ruperto Colon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. In the 63rd match minute, Boedo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eloy Etxahun to maneuver through the defense. After 66 played minutes Boedo got a freekick which was hit by Rosendo Amaya. mako f.c.'s Cipriano Abreu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Maule in the 72nd minute of play. With a little luck, Boedo's Ruperto Colon got control of the ball when Arnulfo Eleazar tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Herminio Herena's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ruperto Colon was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. Saverio Remir hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Bernat got free with Ruperto Colon in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Boedo's Ruperto Colon got control of the ball when Tomas Bernat tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Boedo players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
