In the 9th match minute, El Rey del Paty was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eustaquio Fix to maneuver through the defense. Nestor Gabino took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Justino Rencio. Justino Rencio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. A collision led to LA ACADEMIA getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Patricio Corderun hit a great ball. Teodoro Jerardo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Patricio Corderun's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Justino Rencio was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. 19 minutes into the match, LA ACADEMIA's goal looked a bit too open when Teodoro Jerardo came free, but Jorge Misael reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, LA ACADEMIA's goalkeeper Jorge Misael had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jeremias Gaizko. The supporters of LA ACADEMIA booed when El Rey del Paty was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Esteve Larra didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eustaquio Fix kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 29 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Patricio Corderun sped through El Rey del Paty's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Justino Rencio. Jorge Misael showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodoro Jerardo in the 38th minute of the match. The supporters of El Rey del Paty booed when LA ACADEMIA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miguel Jesco didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, LA ACADEMIA's Jorge Misael got control of the ball when Jeremias Gaizko tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, LA ACADEMIA's Edgardo Fidele got a free kick in the 46th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Patricio Corderun stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Justino Rencio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Corderun in the 51st minute of play. Jorge Misael showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodoro Jerardo in the 53rd minute of the match. A collision led to LA ACADEMIA getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Agustin Franco hit a great ball. Jorge Misael didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eustaquio Fix went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Esteve Larra managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Rey del Paty's supporters rose to their feet, but Esteve Larra was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jorge Misael breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 61 played minutes, El Rey del Paty's Cecilio Quilino shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jorge Misael came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in El Rey del Paty reached it. Nestor Gabino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodoro Jerardo in the 68th minute of play forced LA ACADEMIA's goalkeeper Jorge Misael to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Patricio Corderun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 73 minutes into the game, Teodoro Jerardo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Jorge Misael was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jorge Misael showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Esteve Larra in the 76th minute of the match. In the 78th minute, Jeremias Gaizko left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The El Rey del Paty fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. 84 minutes into the match, LA ACADEMIA's goal looked a bit too open when Jeremias Gaizko came free, but Jorge Misael reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in El Rey del Paty's zone, Patricio Corderun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Justino Rencio came out of the goal and Patricio Corderun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jorge Misael came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by El Rey del Paty's Teodoro Jerardo. But to his dismay, Teodoro Jerardo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. Eustaquio Fix kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the LA ACADEMIA players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for El Rey del Paty.
