Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Urbano Blanco took the kick off in the first half of the match. Teodosio Tiadoro charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Teodosio Tiadoro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Bajestine FC booed when MATADOR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teodosio Tiadoro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 7th minute, Elpidio Ciano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MATADOR fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 14th minute Elpidio Ciano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximo Cebo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Urbano Blanco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 18th minute, Abel Rivero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The corner led Bajestine FC's Teodoro Francesco to fire away a dangerous shot which Karl-Johan Thorsberg despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. If Elpidio Ciano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maximo Cebo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Braulio Socorro went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. A collision led to MATADOR getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Arnaldo Ezkerra hit a great ball. Cipriano Elija recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Cipriano Elija had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Cipriano Elija managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bajestine FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cipriano Elija was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Karl-Johan Thorsberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Maximo Cebo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Braulio Socorro in the 34th minute of the match. Bajestine FC's Cipriano Elija got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Bajestine FC's Urbano Blanco in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye MATADOR's goalie prevented a goal. MATADOR's Karl-Johan Thorsberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Urbano Blanco in the 40th minute of play. In the 43rd minute of the match, Baldomero Ieltxu got a very nice opportunity to score, but Karl-Johan Thorsberg was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 43 minutes, Segundo Paul mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MATADOR and the Bajestine FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 43 played minutes MATADOR got a freekick which was hit by Segundo Paul. The supporters of MATADOR booed when Bajestine FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonel Roland didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 47th minute of the match Rosendo Clemencin sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Maximo Cebo skillfully saved the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Braulio Socorro to make the kick off. 53 minutes had been played when some careless play by Bajestine FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Teodosio Tiadoro was slow to take the kick. During this time MATADOR's players had a chance to rest. Cipriano Elija fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl-Johan Thorsberg having to interfere. Braulio Socorro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Urbano Blanco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Urbano Blanco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Karl-Johan Thorsberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 69th minute, MATADOR's Arnaldo Ezkerra seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Arnaldo Ezkerra the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of MATADOR protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Arnaldo Ezkerra had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 71st minute there was a penalty for Bajestine FC. Teodoro Francesco stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Karl-Johan Thorsberg. 1-2. Cipriano Elija fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl-Johan Thorsberg having to interfere. Urbano Blanco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Karl-Johan Thorsberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cipriano Elija in the 91st minute of play. Chants of MATADOR echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Bajestine FC had held the ball for most of the match.
