Jan Björck did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Venancio Pelagius 9 minutes into the match. 14 minutes into the match, CalleJeroS's goal looked a bit too open when Jaen Buron came free, but Cayetano Barto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 15th minute Vladislav Uličný shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cayetano Barto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vladislav Uličný hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Venancio Pelagius made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Jan Björck sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vladislav Uličný in the 20th minute of play forced CalleJeroS's goalkeeper Cayetano Barto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vladislav Uličný's late challenge caught a CalleJeroS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vladislav Uličný helped the player get up and apologised. In the 24th match minute, Humboldt was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vladislav Uličný to maneuver through the defense. 29 minutes into the game, Luis Tabby was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CalleJeroS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Humboldt the free kick. In the 29th match minute, CalleJeroS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luis Tabby to maneuver through the defense. In the 31st minute, Humboldt's Leonides Suarez seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Leonides Suarez the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Humboldt protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Leonides Suarez had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 30 minutes into the game, one of Humboldt:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Leandro Txilar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Venancio Pelagius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jan Björck stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Venancio Pelagius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan Björck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Humboldt's Venancio Pelagius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Tabby in the 55th minute of play. Luis Tabby received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Venancio Pelagius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 58 minutes into the match, Humboldt's goal looked a bit too open when Dionisio Estavan came free, but Venancio Pelagius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emiliano Jatsu hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Jeremias Inautzi took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 63rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Venancio Pelagius. Humboldt's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Jaen Buron managed to get in a good position for a shot. Humboldt's supporters rose to their feet, but Jaen Buron was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cayetano Barto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Tabby in the 68th minute of play forced Humboldt's goalkeeper Venancio Pelagius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Victor Ilazki got free with Cayetano Barto in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Venancio Pelagius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dionisio Estavan in the 87th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan Björck in the 88th minute of play forced Humboldt's goalkeeper Venancio Pelagius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Venancio Pelagius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan Björck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Jan Björck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. CalleJeroS walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
