When Mauro Ekialde fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ibarreta FC's protests and gave Mauro Ekialde a yellow card for diving instead. In the 8th minute, Emiliano Lore hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in CalleJeroS's zone, Mauro Ekialde stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cayetano Barto came out of the goal and Mauro Ekialde tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 19 minutes into the match, Alberto Urtsua notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of CalleJeroS's Cayetano Barto. Cayetano Barto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Maximino Barbosa came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Ibarreta FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maximino Barbosa couldn't finish the play. If Rene Jaunti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 30 minutes into the match, CalleJeroS's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Urtsua came free, but Cayetano Barto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ibarreta FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Dionisio Estavan 33 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. 36 minutes into the match, CalleJeroS's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Urtsua came free, but Cayetano Barto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. CalleJeroS's Cayetano Barto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Urtsua in the 38th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adrian Cordarius in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cayetano Barto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Camiel Provoost made in the 43rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Jeremias Inautzi immediately put the ball in play. Cayetano Barto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Urtsua in the 45th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Mauro Ekialde struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Cayetano Barto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ibarreta FC. Jan Björck recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 55 minutes into the match, Luis Tabby notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Ibarreta FC's Carmelo Euloxu. Carmelo Euloxu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Carmelo Euloxu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan Björck, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. CalleJeroS's defense didn't have a chance, in the 73rd minute, when Adrian Cordarius scored to the left of an out of position Cayetano Barto, making the score, 4-3. In the 77th match minute, CalleJeroS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camiel Provoost to maneuver through the defense. 82 minutes into the game, Rene Jaunti recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cayetano Barto. Rene Jaunti showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-4. In the 90th minute, Mauro Ekialde got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cayetano Barto was a little too slow when Mauro Ekialde got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 92nd minute. The score was now 4-5. Alberto Urtsua sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
