In the 14th minute German Domiku shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baldomero Casomiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Concepción's zone, Dario Enmanuel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Baldomero Casomiro came out of the goal and Dario Enmanuel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Cosme Martxot's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fernando Vachon was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. 27 minutes into the game, Alvaro Martxelin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Concepción's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Juanillo FC the free kick. Alvaro Martxelin kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Juanillo FC's goalkeeper Fernando Vachon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Baldomero Casomiro came out of the goal and German Domiku tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fernando Vachon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Igor Gartzi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Concepción's Cosme Martxot got a free kick in the 40th minute. If German Domiku had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Melquiades Jaunti couldn't finish the play. If German Domiku had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cosme Martxot charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cosme Martxot the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Concepción getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Cosme Martxot hit a great ball. Fernando Vachon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Godfredo Claris, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. German Domiku scored 1-0 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Baldomero Casomiro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Honorato Quintyn blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Baldomero Casomiro having to make a save. Baldomero Casomiro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Melquiades Jaunti went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. There was no doubt that Juanillo FC were the better team. Juanillo FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
