Domingo Hitzeder took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anier Ofelio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rosendo Stanislao stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Silvio Pio's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. In the 10th minute, Cliff Afful got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of El Lobo de La Plata booed when Calfucurá FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Viviano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anier Ofelio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Domingo Hitzeder made a huge save. Esteve Niguel's late challenge caught a Calfucurá FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Esteve Niguel helped the player get up and apologised. After 14 played minutes El Lobo de La Plata got a freekick which was hit by Esteve Niguel. In the 20th minute, Silvio Pio made a precise shot to the right of Rosendo Stanislao. Calfucurá FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. El Lobo de La Plata's Domingo Hitzeder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Virgilio Quiroga in the 23rd minute of play. Inocencio Fagildo scored 0-3 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rosendo Stanislao, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With 30 minutes on the clock, Ovidio Venerando commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 31 played minutes Calfucurá FC got a freekick which was hit by Ovidio Venerando. El Lobo de La Plata's Esteve Niguel took a good shot, in the 32nd minute, which hit the crossbar above Rosendo Stanislao's head, and flew over the goal. Calfucurá FC's manager was very thankful on the sidelines as his team had managed to keep the ball out of the net after some serious pressure by El Lobo de La Plata. In the 34th minute, Silvio Pio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Anier Ofelio's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Domingo Hitzeder firmly grabbed it by the left post.

58 minutes into the match Cliff Afful climbed in front of goal and pressed up 0-6 in the right cross behind a totally surprised Rosendo Stanislao. Domingo Hitzeder showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Camilo Pabla, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anier Ofelio in the 63rd minute of play forced El Lobo de La Plata's goalkeeper Domingo Hitzeder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 75 played minutes El Lobo de La Plata got a freekick which was hit by Ulises Bermudez. Domingo Hitzeder took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anier Ofelio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Domingo Hitzeder didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nereo Sal went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-6 was the resulting score. When Anier Ofelio came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Calfucurá FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anier Ofelio couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Camilo Pabla in the 91st minute of play forced El Lobo de La Plata's goalkeeper Domingo Hitzeder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 92nd minute of the match Virgilio Quiroga shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Domingo Hitzeder showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 94th minute, Anier Ofelio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. El Lobo de La Plata's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
