The audience was convinced that Reynaldo Bide's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dario Omero was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. Segundo Ignado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

If Segundo Ignado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Reynaldo Leoiar came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Luján AFC's Rogelio Curcio. But to his dismay, Rogelio Curcio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Segundo Ignado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Francisco Bortzaioriz kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Rogelio Curcio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Reynaldo Leoiar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. Marcelo Inge was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 68th minute. Olimpo's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The audience was convinced that Reynaldo Bide's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dario Omero was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. Artemio Inocente charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Artemio Inocente the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Olimpo's Artemio Inocente got a free kick in the 81st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Olimpo's zone, Segundo Ignado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Reynaldo Leoiar came out of the goal and Segundo Ignado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dario Omero made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luis Louis in the 85th minute. In the 87th minute, Segundo Ignado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rogelio Curcio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luján AFC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Olimpo for a fine match.
