When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Anastasio Guzman made a kick off. 56 minutes into the game, Nestor Arotza was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ulapes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Felicia the free kick. If Jaime Macario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anastasio Guzman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 64th minute of the match, Santiago Magdaleno got a very nice opportunity to score, but Samuel Sotero was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. If Hector Poncio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaime Macario in the 69th minute of play forced Ulapes's goalkeeper Mateo Lazcano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ulapes's Leon Fraco shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 89th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Samuel Sotero but with some difficulty. The supporters of Ulapes booed when Felicia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaime Macario didn't get a good kick on the ball. Astor Perico kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match.
