With 33 minutes on the clock, Augusto Gregory commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 33 minutes into the game, one of Bayern Munich FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Bayern Munich FC:s Benito Lander showed great skill when he stopped Benigno Matteo:s penalty. Elena AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bayern Munich FC the free kick. In the 65th minute, Amancio Endura hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Elena AFC's Fabian Millrick played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruben Gomez in the 77th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Elena AFC's zone, Leandro Barrionuevo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabian Millrick came out of the goal and Leandro Barrionuevo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 82 minutes into the match, Ruben Gomez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fabian Millrick. Elena AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ruben Gomez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1.
