Severiano Urtzi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 8th minute, Leonardo Tirso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Deportivo Pata Dura were awarded a corner in the 10th minute after brocha gorda FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Leopoldo Tono took the corner. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Damian Ler got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 1-1. 10 minutes into the match. Feliciano George took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Severo Daunte. Severo Daunte dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Damian Ler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 25th minute, Feliciano George fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. When Leonel Estefan fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored brocha gorda FC's protests and gave Leonel Estefan a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Deportivo Pata Dura booed when brocha gorda FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonel Estefan didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Damian Ler came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Deportivo Pata Dura fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Damian Ler couldn't finish the play. If Damian Ler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Deportivo Pata Dura booed when brocha gorda FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernabe Oroitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 39th minute Gonzalo Jaizki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severiano Urtzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Maximo Paublo to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Deportivo Pata Dura was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvestre Efraim to maneuver through the defense. Severo Daunte came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo Pata Dura's Feliciano George. But to his dismay, Feliciano George quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Gonzalo Jaizki could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Severiano Urtzi made a huge save. Deportivo Pata Dura's Severiano Urtzi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Deportivo Pata Dura from getting a goal against them. 64 minutes into the match, Damian Ler notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of brocha gorda FC's Severo Daunte. Severo Daunte was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Deportivo Pata Dura's Damian Ler got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Teodoro Baumer's late challenge caught a brocha gorda FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Teodoro Baumer helped the player get up and apologised. In the 73rd match minute, Deportivo Pata Dura was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teodoro Baumer to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, brocha gorda FC's Jaime Orti tried to score from far away in the 74th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Severiano Urtzi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gonzalo Jaizki in the 82nd minute. If Maximo Paublo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 85th minute, Deportivo Pata Dura's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Gonzalo Jaizki fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Feliciano George sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Deportivo Pata Dura's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
