When Leonel Suero came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the EmpatiaHumana Anticensura fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonel Suero couldn't finish the play. Gustavo Mantzio was out of position in the 12 minute of play, and Jardel Carneiro capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jardel Carneiro really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Benicio Blai took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 19th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dedê Montenegro. Liga Juniors's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Gustavo Mantzio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jardel Carneiro in the 21st minute. 23 minutes into the game, Valdo Barbosa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. EmpatiaHumana Anticensura's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Liga Juniors the free kick. The supporters of Liga Juniors booed when EmpatiaHumana Anticensura was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valdo Barbosa didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 27th minute Jesus Aurre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustavo Mantzio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 28 minutes into the match, Liga Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Leonel Suero came free, but Dedê Montenegro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 29 minutes had been played when some careless play by Liga Juniors's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Leonel Suero was slow to take the kick. During this time EmpatiaHumana Anticensura's players had a chance to rest. 30 minutes into the game, Marciano Barros was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The EmpatiaHumana Anticensura fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. When Sixto Lartaun came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Liga Juniors fans jumped to their feet. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Leon Gizon managed to get in a good position for a shot. EmpatiaHumana Anticensura's supporters rose to their feet, but Leon Gizon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dedê Montenegro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jardel Carneiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Gustavo Mantzio made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Jardel Carneiro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gustavo Mantzio. That made the score 2-1 in the 47 minute of play.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jardel Carneiro to strike the kick off in the second half. After 56 minutes, Benjamin Satordi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the EmpatiaHumana Anticensura and the Liga Juniors players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 55 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for EmpatiaHumana Anticensura! Gustavo Mantzio went to the wrong direction when Sixto Lartaun was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. The supporters of Liga Juniors booed when EmpatiaHumana Anticensura was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benicio Blai didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 60 played minutes EmpatiaHumana Anticensura got a freekick which was hit by Benicio Blai. In the 62nd minute Leonel Suero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dedê Montenegro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With 65 minutes on the clock, Lázaro Cordaro commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. When the match had been going on for 66 minutes, EmpatiaHumana Anticensura's Leonel Suero got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Dedê Montenegro. 70 minutes into the match, Leon Gizon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dedê Montenegro. Liga Juniors's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leon Gizon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. The audience was convinced that Leon Gizon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dedê Montenegro was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. After 74 minutes Liga Juniors's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Leonel Suero who took care of the corner kick. Liga Juniors's Uriel Ceandro got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fausto Dolcet might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gustavo Mantzio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fausto Dolcet ran back to his position shaking his head. 82 minutes in the game Uriel Ceandro did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Jesus Aurre. 85 minutes into the match, Liga Juniors's goalkeeper Dedê Montenegro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leonel Suero. In the 87th minute, Leonel Suero ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dedê Montenegro was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-4. Leonel Suero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Dedê Montenegro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A throw-in in the 93rd minute of the game was made by Sixto Lartaun with Jesus Aurre as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. If Fabian Pero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Uriel Ceandro made in the 98th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Jesus Aurre however managed to control.
