Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Victoriano Ubarna made the kick off which started today's match. In the 5th minute Eugenio Eduino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eustaquio Evis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victoriano Ubarna in the 6th minute of play forced RIVER PLATE's goalkeeper Eustaquio Evis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 8th minute, Eugenio Eduino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eustaquio Evis was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Eustaquio Evis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerardo Sugoi, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. In the 15th minute Eugenio Eduino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eustaquio Evis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roman Ikatz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Saturnino Nesto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Progreso FC's goalkeeper Saturnino Nesto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Kevin Backman might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Saturnino Nesto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kevin Backman ran back to his position shaking his head. The crowd rose to their feet as Kevin Backman kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Saturnino Nesto. That made the score 1-1 in the 24 minute of play. Eustaquio Evis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victoriano Ubarna, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Juan Jaunti kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. If Kevin Backman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 36th minute Victoriano Ubarna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eustaquio Evis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 39th minute, one of Progreso FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Progreso FC. 44 minutes into the game, Progreso FC's Victoriano Ubarna nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eustaquio Evis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Kevin Backman made the kick off in the second half. Progreso FC's Saturnino Nesto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roman Ikatz in the 57th minute of play. RIVER PLATE's Eustaquio Evis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save RIVER PLATE from getting a goal against them. Roman Ikatz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eustaquio Evis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerardo Sugoi in the 72nd minute of play. In the 76th minute Victoriano Ubarna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eustaquio Evis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eugenio Eduino succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-3 in the 78th playminute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerardo Sugoi in the 82nd minute of play forced RIVER PLATE's goalkeeper Eustaquio Evis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amancio Ospetsu lost his temper 84 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 85th minute, Amancio Ospetsu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Juan Jaunti hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. In the 90thth minute of the game Roman Ikatz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Progreso FC's Saturnino Nesto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Eustaquio Evis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victoriano Ubarna, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. With a little luck, RIVER PLATE's Eustaquio Evis got control of the ball when Ildefonso Txurio tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 94th minute, Eugenio Eduino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 96 minutes into the match, Roman Ikatz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Saturnino Nesto. Progreso FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Roman Ikatz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Progreso FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
