Virgilio Cordarin came out of the goal and Gabriel Txema tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 19 minutes into the game, Anier Hunfredo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Moretti Fútbol Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cazador AFC the free kick. In the 19th minute, Anier Hunfredo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Moretti Fútbol Club's Severo Weterio got a free kick in the 27th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Cazador AFC's Romeo Bastia slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Virgilio Cordarin. That made the score 1-0 after 28 minutes of play. Virgilio Cordarin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Filiberto Martxot in the 31st minute. Efrain Cordaryal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Virgilio Cordarin having to interfere. In the 45th minute Paulino Bembe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Virgilio Cordarin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 59 minutes, Everardo Sidoro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Moretti Fútbol Club and the Cazador AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 59 played minutes Moretti Fútbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Everardo Sidoro. A collision led to Cazador AFC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Romeo Bastia hit a great ball. 74 minutes had been played when some careless play by Cazador AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Benjamin Abastas was slow to take the kick. During this time Moretti Fútbol Club's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to Moretti Fútbol Club's Feliciano Sengrat getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 81st match minute, Cazador AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romeo Bastia to maneuver through the defense. Romeo Bastia got a throw-in 87 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Gabriel Txema. For all the effort they put into the match, the Moretti Fútbol Club players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Cazador AFC.
