An unexpectedly hard shot by Efrain Gilabert in the 15th minute of play forced Srimati Tulasi's goalkeeper Luis Aragones to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Menéndez Portillo in the 45th minute of play forced Cortadera's goalkeeper Raul Ortle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Raul Ortle made an important save on a dangerous shot by Menéndez Portillo in the 47th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Higinio Piarres was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute, Adalmo Baptista left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cortadera fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. After 60 minutes of play, Srimati Tulasi's Camron Holmes made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Raul Ortle was left in no man's land by his defense there! Adalmo Baptista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Luis Aragones tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 70 minutes into the match, Srimati Tulasi's goalkeeper Luis Aragones had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adalmo Baptista. Luis Aragones made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Adalmo Baptista sent off a good shot on target. Cortadera's Raul Ortle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Froilan Petrigai in the 78th minute of play. The supporters of Cortadera booed when Srimati Tulasi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Menéndez Portillo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adalmo Baptista could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Luis Aragones made a huge save. Menéndez Portillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 89 played minutes Cortadera got a freekick which was hit by Efrain Gilabert. Adalmo Baptista kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Menéndez Portillo in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Raul Ortle prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Raul Ortle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Camron Holmes, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adalmo Baptista got free with Luis Aragones in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
