After 6 played minutes Rayo Azul F.C got a freekick which was hit by Jonatan Lehoi. A collision led to Coraya AFC getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Justo Corderun hit a great ball. The supporters of Coraya AFC booed when Rayo Azul F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Murilo Pombal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Armando Anziani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kevin Keegan in the 16th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kevin Keegan in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Armando Anziani prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Inocencio Umea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 30th minute, Kevin Keegan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Coraya AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 32nd minute, Justo Corderun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Armando Anziani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Inocencio Umea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kevin Keegan took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Armando Anziani. Armando Anziani dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Darman Fitrianto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Coraya AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Darman Fitrianto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Armando Anziani breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kevin Keegan in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Armando Anziani prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After the first half Coraya AFC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 55th match minute, Rayo Azul F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonatan Lehoi to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Coraya AFC's Gustavo Tallia got a free kick in the 59th minute. Gustavo Tallia took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 64th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Armando Anziani. Rayo Azul F.C's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 72 minutes into the match, Rayo Azul F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Kevin Keegan came free, but Armando Anziani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Rayo Azul F.C's Armando Anziani got control of the ball when Inocencio Umea tried to sneak it across the goal line. 76 minutes into the game, Dante Miliano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rayo Azul F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Coraya AFC the free kick. With a little luck, Rayo Azul F.C's Armando Anziani got control of the ball when Kevin Keegan tried to sneak it across the goal line. 83 minutes into the match, Coraya AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Fernan Selmo came free, but Marciano Urdaspal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Justo Corderun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Anziani having to interfere.
