An unexpectedly hard shot by Simon Gustau in the 2nd minute of play forced Latre F.C-'s goalkeeper Damian Tauro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gilberto Mede's late challenge caught a Argentinos Juniors's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gilberto Mede helped the player get up and apologised. In the 45th match minute, Latre F.C- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilberto Mede to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Latre F.C-'s Jonathan Innocenzio slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Patrick Engström. That made the score 3-0 after 47 minutes of play.

If Simon Gustau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ramiro Porfirio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Latre F.C- support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
