Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Gowlan's Inocencio Batista started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Allard Rinzema in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Natalio Montrel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Punisher VG's Tadeo Menendo got a free kick in the 5th minute. Lucas Lope, 6 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. A collision led to Gowlan getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Zeledon Isidor hit a great ball. Severo Gonza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Inocencio Batista in the 17th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Allard Rinzema in the 23rd minute of play forced Gowlan's goalkeeper Natalio Montrel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Allard Rinzema fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Natalio Montrel having to interfere. Ladislao Gabon hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Gowlan's Donato Opilano suffered a sprained foot after 31 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 31 minutes into the game, Federico Rozarius was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Punisher VG's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gowlan the free kick. The supporters of Gowlan booed when Punisher VG was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Federico Rozarius didn't get a good kick on the ball. 37 minutes into the match, Inocencio Batista had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Severo Gonza. Punisher VG's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Inocencio Batista was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 41st minute Inocencio Batista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severo Gonza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Inocencio Batista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some careless play in the Punisher VG defense, Bonifacio Bartoleme kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Severo Gonza. The Punisher VG fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Severo Gonza should have stopped the shot. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Federico Rozarius scored 1-2 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Natalio Montrel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Natalio Montrel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Artemio Lauro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Federico Rozarius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match clock showed 71 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Allard Rinzema sped through Gowlan's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Natalio Montrel. Ciro Felipillo hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. When Gowlan's Inocencio Batista, in the 76th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Gowlan. Severo Gonza made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Inocencio Batista sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Punisher VG booed when Gowlan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucas Lope didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 88thth minute of the game Allard Rinzema who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gowlan's Natalio Montrel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Gowlan players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
