Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tiburcio Leheren started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Chalicán getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Cristo Sansone hit a great ball. The supporters of Rexas FC booed when Chalicán was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Conrado Sabin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Filomeno Salamon might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ovidio Polentzi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Filomeno Salamon ran back to his position shaking his head. Tiburcio Leheren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 19 minutes into the game, Conrado Sabin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chalicán's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rexas FC the free kick. In the 19th match minute, Chalicán was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Conrado Sabin to maneuver through the defense. In the 21st minute of the match Aquilino Clis sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ovidio Polentzi skillfully saved the ball. Iker Rami showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paolo Papo in the 22nd minute of the match. Nestor Nabar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iker Rami having to interfere. After 28 played minutes Chalicán got a freekick which was hit by Raul Joseph. In the 31st minute, Tiburcio Leheren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tiburcio Leheren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Iker Rami made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paolo Papo in the 39th minute of play. If Justino Urtsua had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 45 minutes into the match, Rexas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nestor Nabar came free, but Iker Rami reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tiburcio Leheren blasted a shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ovidio Polentzi having to make a save. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nestor Nabar to make the kick off. If Tiburcio Leheren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 56th play minute Filomeno Salamon came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ovidio Polentzi. 0-1. After some careless play in the Chalicán defense, Filomeno Salamon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ovidio Polentzi. The Chalicán fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ovidio Polentzi should have stopped the shot. Chalicán's Ovidio Polentzi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Chalicán from getting a goal against them. After 68 minutes Chalicán's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tiburcio Leheren who took care of the corner kick. Filomeno Salamon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ovidio Polentzi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. 71 minutes into the game, Rexas FC's Filomeno Salamon nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ovidio Polentzi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Eriberto de Toledo kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. In the 76th minute of the match, Filomeno Salamon got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ovidio Polentzi was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Filomeno Salamon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ovidio Polentzi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. If Nestor Nabar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Chalicán's Ovidio Polentzi got control of the ball when Filomeno Salamon tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 90th minute, Silvestre Ritchie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 91st minute of the match Tiburcio Leheren shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ovidio Polentzi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With a little luck, Chalicán's Ovidio Polentzi got control of the ball when Filomeno Salamon tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rexas FC played a much better game than Chalicán and deserved their victory. The Chalicán players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
