When Ramiro Nabar fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ballesteros AFC's protests and gave Ramiro Nabar a yellow card for diving instead. Ramiro Nabar hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, CART FC's Ricardo Txeru got a free kick in the 23rd minute. After 27 minutes, Leopoldo Eguen made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Ballesteros AFC's Pablo Bernaldo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Pablo Bernaldo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leopoldo Eguen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Ballesteros AFC's Pedro Peio got a free kick in the 31st minute. Pablo Bernaldo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulino Enol in the 42nd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Godofredo Goyo in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pablo Bernaldo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 47th minute Godofredo Goyo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pablo Bernaldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After 55 played minutes Ballesteros AFC got a freekick which was hit by Prudencio Austin. Amador Gimenez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Leopoldo Eguen received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Pablo Bernaldo came out and tried to block the shot, but Leopoldo Eguen slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 57th minute. 60 minutes into the match, Ballesteros AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Filiberto Tino came free, but Pablo Bernaldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ballesteros AFC's Pablo Bernaldo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Ballesteros AFC from getting a goal against them. If Leopoldo Eguen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Ballesteros AFC's Ramiro Nabar got a free kick in the 67th minute. CART FC's Filiberto Tino got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Filiberto Tino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 72nd minute, CART FC's Filiberto Tino dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-5. The audience was convinced that Filiberto Tino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pablo Bernaldo was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. Rodolfo Eriz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mateo Betadur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ricardo Txeru got free with Pablo Bernaldo in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pablo Bernaldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filiberto Tino in the 84th minute of play. Godofredo Goyo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Filiberto Tino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pablo Bernaldo was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. 91 minutes into the match, CART FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ramiro Nabar came free, but Rodolfo Eriz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Filiberto Tino managed to get in a good position for a shot. CART FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Filiberto Tino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pablo Bernaldo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 96th minute, Godofredo Goyo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pablo Bernaldo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-6. When the final whistle sounded CART FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Ballesteros AFC.
