Tord Dahlman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luciano Lapurdi in the 10th minute of play. Remigio Benet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florencio Qwinton in the 12th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the match, Daheza's goal looked a bit too open when Roberto Felipo came free, but Tord Dahlman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Elpidio Jerrald's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Remigio Benet was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. If Florencio Qwinton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Independiente Forever getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. In the 25th minute, Aureliano Sengrat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 32 minutes, Elpidio Jerrald mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Daheza and the Independiente Forever players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 33 played minutes Daheza got a freekick which was hit by Elpidio Jerrald. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elpidio Jerrald in the 39th minute of play forced Independiente Forever's goalkeeper Remigio Benet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Evelio Mincho was the one to do the kick off. Martin Ederono fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tord Dahlman having to interfere. Remigio Benet made an important save on a dangerous shot by Elpidio Jerrald in the 54th minute. Independiente Forever's Remigio Benet proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Independiente Forever from getting a goal against them. After 67 minutes of play, Daheza's Florencio Qwinton made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Remigio Benet was left in no man's land by his defense there! The throw-in from Jacinto Jerrald in the 71st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Independiente Forever's Humberto Berdoi. If Elpidio Jerrald had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tord Dahlman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aureliano Sengrat, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Martin Ederono received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Tord Dahlman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
