Beppe Fino scored 2-0 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jeronimo Gonza, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ulises Gaueko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 24 minutes into the game, Estudiantes de la plata's Beppe Fino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jeronimo Gonza made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Jeronimo Gonza didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Beppe Fino went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Beppe Fino took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jeronimo Gonza. Jeronimo Gonza dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Jeronimo Gonza didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Diego Matos went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. Jeronimo Gonza didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ulises Gaueko went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 7-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Diego Matos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, Dennehy AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Venancio Rutenio to maneuver through the defense. Horia Moldovan, 54 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 62nd minute, Beppe Fino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Estudiantes de la plata booed when Dennehy AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clodoveo Paulin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 69th minute Fulgencio Eliu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erasmo Urki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Diego Matos put it in 8-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jeronimo Gonza. The Dennehy AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jeronimo Gonza should have stopped the shot. Jeronimo Gonza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diego Matos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Beppe Fino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
