Marcelino Mincho stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Julio Nataniel's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Alfredo Bonadona's late challenge caught a Calafate's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alfredo Bonadona helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Dr. Ernesto Guevara's Alfredo Bonadona got a free kick in the 34th minute. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nicanor Suarez was the one to do the kick off. In the 64th match minute, Calafate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gavino Elazar to maneuver through the defense. Dr. Ernesto Guevara's Fabricio Pere got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Julio Nataniel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Marcelino Mincho made a huge save. After 83 played minutes Calafate got a freekick which was hit by Gavino Elazar. With a little luck, Calafate's Marcelino Mincho got control of the ball when Julio Nataniel tried to sneak it across the goal line. 88 minutes into the game, Dr. Ernesto Guevara's Amadeo Ixidor nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcelino Mincho made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Fabricio Pere received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Marcelino Mincho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dr. Ernesto Guevara's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Calafate had won, even though Dr. Ernesto Guevara had held more of the ball.
