Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Julio Nataniel took the kick off in the first half of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julio Nataniel in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Teofilo Joachim saved Deportivo Merlo from getting behind. In the 24thth minute of the game Julio Nataniel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Deportivo Merlo's Teofilo Joachim was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 26th minute Julio Nataniel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teofilo Joachim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 28thth minute of the game Julio Nataniel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Deportivo Merlo's Teofilo Joachim was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Deportivo Merlo:s Teofilo Joachim showed great skill when he stopped Elvio Iyan:s penalty. Elvio Iyan took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Teofilo Joachim. Teofilo Joachim dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Fabricio Pere's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Teofilo Joachim read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. When Dr. Ernesto Guevara's Julio Nataniel in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Deportivo Merlo's goalie prevented a goal. Jonatan Alfonso's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alejandro Geleberto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Hilario Garoa made the kick off in the second half. After 56 played minutes Deportivo Merlo got a freekick which was hit by Jonatan Alfonso. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hilario Garoa in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alejandro Geleberto saved Dr. Ernesto Guevara from getting behind. Jonatan Alfonso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alejandro Geleberto having to interfere. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Deportivo Merlo's goalkeeper Teofilo Joachim, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 75th minute, Dr. Ernesto Guevara's Julio Nataniel ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Teofilo Joachim. Teofilo Joachim yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. Fabricio Pere struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Teofilo Joachim didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dr. Ernesto Guevara. Isaias Urre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teofilo Joachim having to interfere. In the 87th minute Aureliano Domenec shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teofilo Joachim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Deportivo Merlo getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Mariano Sindo hit a great ball. Teofilo Joachim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julio Nataniel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Dr. Ernesto Guevara booed when Deportivo Merlo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonatan Alfonso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dr. Ernesto Guevara's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
