The audience thought a goal was coming when Melquiades Crescencio got free with Orlando Francis in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ruperto Lastur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Modesto Brion, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Orlando Francis didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 10th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. Hernan Egun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The throw-in from Marcelino Gabirel in the 20th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Carrenleufú AFC's Froilan Cordarryl. After a rather tough play, Carrenleufú AFC's Modesto Brion got a free kick in the 21st minute. Carrenleufú AFC's Orlando Francis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Melquiades Crescencio in the 23rd minute of play. Marcelino Gabirel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Orlando Francis made a huge save. Edgardo Rainerio scored 2-0 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Orlando Francis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hernan Egun during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Hernan Egun kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Carrenleufú AFC's Orlando Francis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Carrenleufú AFC from getting a goal against them. Ruperto Lastur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celedonio Ilazki in the 35th minute of play. After some careless play in the El Independiente defense, Celedonio Ilazki kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ruperto Lastur. The El Independiente fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ruperto Lastur should have stopped the shot. Celedonio Ilazki scored 2-2 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ruperto Lastur, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Edgardo Rainerio hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Celedonio Ilazki to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, El Independiente's goalkeeper Ruperto Lastur had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hernan Egun. The crowd rose to their feet as Carrenleufú AFC's Celedonio Ilazki slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ruperto Lastur. That made the score 2-3 after 55 minutes of play. Valentin Ramond received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Ruperto Lastur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ruperto Lastur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Modesto Brion, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ruperto Lastur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celedonio Ilazki, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. 72 minutes into the game, Modesto Brion was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Carrenleufú AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave El Independiente the free kick. Modesto Brion hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Melquiades Crescencio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Orlando Francis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Melquiades Crescencio in the 85th minute of play forced Carrenleufú AFC's goalkeeper Orlando Francis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Orlando Francis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgardo Rainerio in the 87th minute of the match. El Independiente's Ruperto Lastur proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save El Independiente from getting a goal against them. Ruperto Lastur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celedonio Ilazki in the 93rd minute of the match. The El Independiente fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Carrenleufú AFC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
