The audience thought a goal was coming when Edgardo Rainerio got free with Zacarias Vitin in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ruperto Lastur came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by thiago fc's 柯鹰伟. But to his dismay, 柯鹰伟 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Edgardo Rainerio kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Jairo Martxelin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to El Independiente getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Gerardo Rafel hit a great ball. 柯鹰伟 kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Edgardo Rainerio scored 2-1 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zacarias Vitin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Gustavo Nogueira fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El Independiente's protests and gave Gustavo Nogueira a yellow card for diving instead. In the 57th minute, Gustavo Nogueira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 59 minutes into the game, Jairo Martxelin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. thiago fc's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave El Independiente the free kick. After 60 played minutes thiago fc got a freekick which was hit by Jairo Martxelin. If Jairo Martxelin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of thiago fc booed when El Independiente was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ignacio Hotz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edgardo Rainerio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zacarias Vitin having to interfere. 74 minutes in the game, Jairo Martxelin fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Ruperto Lastur having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when 柯鹰伟 got free with Ruperto Lastur in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Through an outstanding action, after 79 minutes, Ruperto Lastur successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a rather tough play, thiago fc's Joel Frederik got a free kick in the 80th minute. If Edgardo Rainerio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zacarias Vitin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgardo Rainerio in the 86th minute of play. When the referee blew the final whistle, El Independiente could leave the field as winners, despite thiago fc having more of the ball for most of the match.
