Federico Cordarrel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Patricio Theodore's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. 19 minutes into the match, Olta AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Clodoveo Cordairo came free, but Federico Cordarrel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Federico Cordarrel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Patricio Theodore in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Federico Cordarrel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Octavio Hondo made a kick off. Rosario Central's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patricio Theodore was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Rosario Central getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Denis Vermudo hit a great ball. Olta AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 93rd minute, when Clodoveo Cordairo scored to the left of an out of position Federico Cordarrel, making the score, 0-6. After some careless play in the Olta AFC defense, Patricio Theodore kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Federico Cordarrel. The Olta AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Federico Cordarrel should have stopped the shot.
