After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Silvio Mateus managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.A. CAMPOLTER's supporters rose to their feet, but Silvio Mateus was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Genaro Larpe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Lisandro Paio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jose Henric was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. Sergio Vergaray kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Jose Henric stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lisandro Paio's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. In the 37th minute, C.A. CAMPOLTER's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ciro Aznar fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Roberto Bela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jose Henric having to interfere. Roberto Bela recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ciro Aznar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Jose Henric made a huge save. In the 45th minute, Lisandro Paio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 48th minute the ball was on its way in behind C.A. CAMPOLTER's goalkeeper Jose Henric, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lisandro Paio was the one to do the kick off. Dobromir Jaruzelski struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Jose Henric didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for San lorenzo de Almagro. Genaro Larpe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvio Mateus in the 54th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in C.A. CAMPOLTER's zone, Ciro Aznar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jose Henric came out of the goal and Ciro Aznar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lisandro Paio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Jose Henric tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Silvio Mateus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lisandro Paio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jose Henric having to make a save. Jose Henric showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicasio Columbo, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. When the match clock showed 71 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Lisandro Paio sped through C.A. CAMPOLTER's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jose Henric. Jose Henric showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciro Aznar, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. C.A. CAMPOLTER's Jose Henric played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lisandro Paio in the 80th minute of play. CAMPOLTER's protests and gave Florentino Gregory a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, C.A. CAMPOLTER's Florentino Gregory got a free kick in the 85th minute. Jose Henric stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lisandro Paio's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. In the 91st minute Lisandro Paio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jose Henric saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 92nd minute, Ciro Aznar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jose Henric was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. When Ciro Aznar came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the San lorenzo de Almagro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ciro Aznar couldn't finish the play. Roberto Bela kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. San lorenzo de Almagro had played much better football throughout.
