Marcial Eladio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bruno Lartaun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnaldo Llanos having to interfere. A collision led to Malditos getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Ulises Jokin hit a great ball. Angelino Erauso received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Arnaldo Llanos came out and tried to block the shot, but Angelino Erauso slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 13th minute. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind C. A. River Plate's goalkeeper Eduardo Kiliz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Malditos's zone, Angelino Erauso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arnaldo Llanos came out of the goal and Angelino Erauso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, C. A. River Plate's Jonatan Telmo got a free kick in the 21st minute. In the 24th minute, Bruno Lartaun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ignacio Guifre hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Emanuel Txanton kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Arnaldo Llanos. That made the score 2-0 in the 27 minute of play. Emanuel Txanton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnaldo Llanos having to interfere. When Bruno Lartaun, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 32 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Arnaldo Llanos was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. When Marcial Eladio came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the C. A. River Plate fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcial Eladio couldn't finish the play. Angelino Erauso struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Arnaldo Llanos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C. A. River Plate. Ceferino Madeo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnaldo Llanos having to interfere. With a little luck, Malditos's Arnaldo Llanos got control of the ball when Ceferino Madeo tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The wind increased when Emanuel Txanton made the kick off in the second half. Rolando Ponce fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduardo Kiliz having to interfere. Malditos's Arnaldo Llanos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Lartaun in the 54th minute of play. Arnaldo Llanos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emanuel Txanton, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. 62 minutes into the match, Bruno Lartaun notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Malditos's Arnaldo Llanos. Arnaldo Llanos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience was convinced that Bruno Lartaun's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arnaldo Llanos was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. Angelino Erauso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Malditos's zone, Bruno Lartaun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arnaldo Llanos came out of the goal and Bruno Lartaun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 74th minute, Malditos's Rolando Ponce ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Eduardo Kiliz. Eduardo Kiliz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-1. Arnaldo Llanos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuel Txanton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Ceferino Madeo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abel Chico charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abel Chico the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 84th minute, Abel Chico hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. There was no doubt that C. A. River Plate were the better team. C. A. River Plate's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
