Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Mauricio Esiquio took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd match minute, Frontera FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mauro Cefero to maneuver through the defense. In the 6th minute, Luka Kipper got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 11th match minute, Saladillo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Godofredo Mendiko to maneuver through the defense. 13 minutes in the game, Sergio Paio fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Gaston Llope having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luka Kipper got free with Gaston Llope in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gaston Llope showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sergio Paio in the 17th minute of the match. If Luka Kipper had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Jimeno Domiku had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 25th minute Mauricio Esiquio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ryan Petroni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luka Kipper fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaston Llope having to interfere. Braulio Rolado kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. A collision led to Saladillo getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Godofredo Mendiko hit a great ball. The supporters of Frontera FC booed when Saladillo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgardo Jacindo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 35 minutes into the match, Saladillo's goalkeeper Gaston Llope had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luka Kipper. 36 minutes into the match, Mauricio Esiquio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ryan Petroni. Frontera FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mauricio Esiquio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After the first half Saladillo were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luka Kipper to strike the kick off in the second half. Frontera FC's Ryan Petroni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauricio Esiquio in the 53rd minute of play. Ryan Petroni made an important save on a dangerous shot by Artemio Bartoleme in the 57th minute. After some careless play in the Saladillo defense, Sergio Paio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gaston Llope. The Saladillo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gaston Llope should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luka Kipper in the 65th minute of play forced Saladillo's goalkeeper Gaston Llope to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 70th minute, Sergio Paio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 71 minutes into the game, Desiderio Matai was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Saladillo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Frontera FC the free kick. A collision led to Saladillo getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Desiderio Matai hit a great ball. 74 minutes into the match, Godofredo Mendiko dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ryan Petroni, 1-2. If Luka Kipper had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sergio Paio in the 80th minute of play forced Saladillo's goalkeeper Gaston Llope to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mauro Cefero kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Saladillo's Benito Arlo shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 90th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Ryan Petroni but with some difficulty. Frontera FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 91st minute, when Godofredo Mendiko scored to the left of an out of position Ryan Petroni, making the score, 1-4. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Frontera FC lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
