Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Felipe Cordairo made the kick off which started today's match. If Rodolfo Nalo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Barrancas AFC getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Segundo Charro hit a great ball. Rodolfo Nalo took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ulises Gumaro. Ulises Gumaro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 22 minutes into the match, Barrancas AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Rodolfo Nalo came free, but Ulises Gumaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Domingos Guerau in the 29th minute of play forced Merced's goalkeeper Lino Oso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ulises Gumaro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felipe Cordairo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Domingos Guerau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lino Oso having to interfere. Domingos Guerau did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-2 to the left of a surprised Lino Oso 35 minutes into the match. Ulises Gumaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodolfo Nalo in the 39th minute of the match. If Domingos Guerau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Merced's Lino Oso got control of the ball when Anastasio Asier tried to sneak it across the goal line. 45 minutes into the match, Barrancas AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Cordairo came free, but Ulises Gumaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 46th minute Felipe Cordairo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulises Gumaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 48 played minutes Merced got a freekick which was hit by Rene Umbruso. After the first half Merced were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Domingos Guerau to make the kick off. Rodolfo Nalo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Ulises Gumaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lino Oso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Domingos Guerau, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Merced getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Severo Bidari hit a great ball. Domingos Guerau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Lino Oso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anastasio Asier in the 70th minute of play forced Merced's goalkeeper Lino Oso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 75th minute of the game, Donato Seber landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Benicio Tristan's late challenge caught a Merced's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benicio Tristan helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Barrancas AFC getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Benicio Tristan hit a great ball. In the 79th minute, Anastasio Asier got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 81stth minute of the game Domingos Guerau who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Merced's Lino Oso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Barrancas AFC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Kurt Anundsson in the 83rd minute. In the 89th minute, Rodolfo Nalo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ulises Gumaro was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. Lino Oso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anastasio Asier in the 95th minute of play. Chants of Merced echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Barrancas AFC had held the ball for most of the match.
