After some careless play in the Patagonia Web defense, Aristides Felipo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Froilan Ireno. The Patagonia Web fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Froilan Ireno should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aristides Felipo in the 17th minute of play forced Patagonia Web's goalkeeper Froilan Ireno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tadeo Clodio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Desiderio Bazkoare in the 25th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Patagonia Web defense, Aristides Felipo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Froilan Ireno. The Patagonia Web fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Froilan Ireno should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Patagonia Web getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Desiderio Bazkoare hit a great ball. 30 minutes into the match, Patagonia Web's goal looked a bit too open when Roberto Bolaños came free, but Froilan Ireno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tadeo Clodio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Desiderio Bazkoare in the 32nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roberto Bolaños in the 35th minute of play forced Patagonia Web's goalkeeper Froilan Ireno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Patagonia Web's zone, Ezequiel Elixio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Froilan Ireno came out of the goal and Ezequiel Elixio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 39th minute, Aristides Felipo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Roberto Bolaños's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Froilan Ireno was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aristides Felipo in the 46th minute of play forced Patagonia Web's goalkeeper Froilan Ireno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Roberto Bolaños stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ezequiel Elixio in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Froilan Ireno saved Patagonia Web from getting behind. Desiderio Bazkoare took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tadeo Clodio. Tadeo Clodio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Tadeo Clodio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Desiderio Bazkoare, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Desiderio Bazkoare in the 64th minute of play forced Caius FC's goalkeeper Tadeo Clodio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Froilan Ireno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roberto Bolaños in the 69th minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, Patagonia Web's goal looked a bit too open when Aristides Felipo came free, but Froilan Ireno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In a very dangerous position, a player in Patagonia Web fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 72nd minute. Penalty! In the 75th minute, Caius FC got a penalty, and Roman Chepe placed the ball unsaveable into goal, by the right post. Roberto Bolaños was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 85th minute. Caius FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Roberto Bolaños had several of the Patagonia Web's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 91 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-5 score and a disappointed Froilan Ireno as he didn't even see the shot coming. When the final whistle sounded Caius FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Patagonia Web.
